The Environmental Department now has Natular XRT Mosquito Larvicide Extended Release Tablets available to all Boyd County property owners/residents. These environmentally friendly tablets are made from a naturally occurring soil organism & kills mosquitoes in the larval stage. They’re designed to be utilized in natural or man-made depressions that hold water. One tablet will effectively treat 100 square ft. of standing water surface area in depressions up to two feet deep for up to 6 months.
