The Division of Plumbing Inspector's office is located inside Environmental Services and is open Mondays and Thursdays ONLY from 8am to 9:30am.

Plan Review - New or Extensively Remodeled Establishments

All plans concerning Retail Foods (Food Service, Grocery Stores) must be submitted to the local health department for approval. Click here for guidelines.

Self-Contained Mobile Food Service Units

Plumbing requirements and guidelines to obtain a state-wide operating permit can be found in printable format here.

Having the local health department’s approval, plans are then submitted to Frankfort, Kentucky, for state approval.
